Wally Dion: Epic Indian

Here is some pretty cool stuff from artist Wally Dion. You can find all of his work and a Bio @ EpicIndian.com  I love the size of his work. Most of the circuit board art that I see can be held in the palm of your hand. Wally Dion goes big and these assembled pieces have a lot of attention to detail.

My Vision

A little book I made a while back, using circuit boards as entalio prints. In case you missed it, I am kind of into circuit boards. This little book explains why. All the highlighted words have definitions attached from a communications text book. The circuit boards have become a symbol for me of small group communication.

Richard Symons: Techno Art

Richard Symons artwork work is created from resins using molds. I think they are pretty interesting because of the process. I think the surfaces are pretty cool. I guess it’s just that techno feel that I’m so into. I can only hope there is more to come. I guess He has an Etsy account where you can purchase these pieces but nothing is available at the moment so I’m not going to bother with a link.

Peter Mcfarlane: Circuit Board Artwork

I’ve attempted to paint on circuitry to create works of art but have had little luck. Peter Mcfarlane uses the design of the circuitry to add detail to cityscapes even soldering in wires to look like traffic.

Christopher Locke: Modern Fossils

I’ve been doing a little work with concrete this week and it has got me thinking about how great it is for sculpture. I have designed a few projects but have been waiting until the weather is warmer to get started. While searching for inspiration, since the concrete work I do is created using molds I came across Christopher Locke’s work on his “Heartless Machine” Website. Christopher’s work grabbed my attention because it is made from concrete and the objects he chooses to mold and cast are some what related to circuitry or computers in general. You can see his work below, He is also currently showing at ZzyzxGallery In La.
